Our March Above and Beyond award goes to Lori Goldsmith.  Lori was recently awarded the Silver Level Volunteer Award for her service at The Clothes Less Traveled.  Lori first heard about the shop from her husband, Don, who was a shopper at Gil Roy’s Hardware store. He dropped in to shop for furniture and told Lori all about our wonderful shop.  After becoming an avid shopper Victoria Torres befriended her at the cash register and asked her to join the team by volunteering.  That was in October of 2015 and now Lori generously volunteers every Thursday and Friday.  Lori will help anywhere there is need but routinely works in the back sort room.  She finds the fellow volunteers and staff extremely friendly and helpful.  There is a welcoming spirit that she enjoys and loves to pitch in, even if the need is other than her 2 days a week.

Lori worked for 40 years as an RN and retired with the Newnan Health Department.  When she is not volunteering at the Clothes Less Traveled Lori can be found volunteering at the Cancer Treatment Center in Newnan.   Lori you are a great example of a caring, sharing heart and we appreciate your beautiful smile.  Thank you for all your help to make CLT the community place to Volunteer, Shop and Donate.
