Volunteers play a vital role in the Clothes Less Traveled mission.

Our mission is to provide an environment to re-sell gently used household and clothing items at a fair and reasonable price. We provide opportunity for people to have a place to volunteer and perform community service in a positive and productive way. Whether you want to organize a clothing or furniture drive, assist our customers in the store or work on a special event or project, Clothes Less Traveled offers meaningful ways for you to connect as our partner in the community for the community.

Student Volunteering

The Clothes Less Traveled welcomes High School Students to volunteer. We are extremely flexible with scheduling so whether you would like to complete service hours for school, special clubs or just for fun, contact Anne Walker, Volunteer@ClothesLessTraveled.org. We also offer scholarships- Click here for more information!

Individual volunteers must be a high school student and we ask they commit to a minimum of one shift of 3-1/2 hours per month. If interested, please contact one of the Volunteer Schedulers listed above. New Volunteer Orientations are held periodically.
Volunteers who serve on a regular basis of one shift per month receive a birthday card that can be used to get 50% off an entire transaction (see Ann for exclusions). Volunteers are invited to an annual volunteer appreciation dinner, twice a year shopping at 50% off, Above and Beyond recognition, tokens of appreciation given periodically for recognition of excellent service, eligibility for Youth Scholarship Program, name tags and uniform apron. Clothes Less Traveled is a great place for groups to volunteer. Children above the age of 12 can volunteer as part of a group as long as adult supervision is provided. Please contact us to receive more information on project ideas, group sizes and time commitment. We can custom fit a project to meet both your needs as a group organizer and benefit the community, families and individuals we serve.
Collect clothing, furniture, household items for donation. We can assist in bringing a truck to your location to pick up items that have not been sold.
