We are so grateful to have you in our community advocating for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Developing an accepting and supportive community environment with a full spectrum of high quality local support options for people in with developmental disabilities, and their families, so they have choices while living productive lives is hugely important. In addition, you host summer camps and workshops where highly trained therapists work alongside children from the community to impart life skills in a fun and engaging way. Clothes Less Traveled is honored to support your mission.
ExOPS advocates for specific policies and programs that benefit people with developmental disabilities and their families. They also educate service providers, county officials, families and others on issues that impact people with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.
Monthly meetings, newsletters and emails serve to help members get to know others with similar problems and find solutions, make new friends, become knowledgeable of their rights & services available, and become an effective catalyst for positive change. They also support the Fayette Special Olympics, All-Children’s Playground, Group Home, Fayette Field of Hope, as well as assist families in obtaining scholarships for Camp Big Heart through a collaborative effort with the Line Creek Civitan Club and the Fayetteville Civitan Club.
