Semi-Annual Grant Application

For the Fall of 2019, we will not have our typical semi-annual grant application process. Instead, to honor the hard work of our staff during the leadership transition, each staff member will be able to direct a specified portion of the grant budget (a “mini grant”) to their choice of a prior grant recipient, ensuring our granting approval protocols will still be met. See below for eligibility guidelines.

If you are a prior grant recipient who falls under our semi-annual and/or annual grant guidelines you will need to submit a short (500 words or less) written overview of your organization and your mission at the bottom of this page. This synopsis will be used by our employees as they select which organization will receive their allotment of grant funds.

Deadline to submit your synopsis and be considered for grants is Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 5:00 PM. Those receiving awards will receive notification by letter sent no later than November 1, 2019.

Who is Qualified for our Grants?

Applications are only considered from nonprofit organizations serving the South Metro Atlanta Counties of Fayette, Coweta, Clayton, Spalding and the South Fulton Cities of College Park, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Palmetto and Union City.

Applicants for the 2019 Fall Grants must have been awarded a grant from CLT in the past three years, and have met the qualifications required for our annual and semi-annual grants stated below. (Individual churches will not be eligible for this application cycle.)

Qualifying organizations will have proven a minimum three year 501(c)3 status with supporting recent financial documentation along with other guidelines in their past extensive grant applications.
