In Memoriam of Joan Velsmid
“Joan Madison Velsmid was an amazing woman who dedicated immeasurable time to help create, grow, and sustain CLT with a true servant’s heart. She never sought the limelight nor accolades for her work. She had a brilliant mind and true vision. She raised up so many over the years.
I am honored to have served with her and counted her as a true and loyal friend and mentor. I am a better person because Joan was a part of my life as she led by example. I will miss her dearly and the service area of Clothes Less Traveled will experience the ripple effect of Joan’s dedication to this mission for many, many years to come.
My sincerest sympathy to Joan’s family and others as they grieve this profound loss.
Rest in Peace Joan Madison Velsmid.”
